PHPA-II Diverts the River back to its original Course

Coinciding with the 115^th National Day of Bhutan, Punatsangchhu-II has successfully diverted the river back to the original course after substantial completion of DAM works. This marks one of the important milestones of the project. The event was graced by the Hon’ble Chairman, Minister of MOEA Lyonpo Loknath Sharma and His Excellency the Ambassador of India to Bhutan Shri Sudhakar Dalela and headed by Hon’ble Secretary, MoEA, Director, DoE and Local Government officials from Wangdue Phodrang Dzongkhag.
