Mr. Ajay Kumar

Mr. Ajay Kumar, took over the responsibility of Director Technical, PHPA on 23rd November 2022. The officer is on deputation from SJVN Ltd, a Schedule “A” Mini- Ratana Company under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. His rich and multifaceted experience of 24 years spans across the field of Planning, Investigation/ Construction/ Contract administration and Maintenance of large Hydro projects.

He is a Civil Engineering graduate of 1993 batch from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh (India). Prior to the assumption of charge of Director (Technical), PHPA-II, Mr. Ajay Kumar in the capacity of AGM(civil) was heading the civil construction wing of Naitwar Mori HEP  since 2017,  wherein  he played a pivotal role in the construction of Barrage, HRT & hydro mechanical & infra structure works of the project. During his professional career he has served in Wanghchhu HEP, Luhri HEP & Nathpa Jhakri HEP in different levels in different capacities.
